Three ingredients. Nothing else.

Salt water, until you add electricity. Then it becomes something your body already makes.

An electric current turns salt water into hypochlorous acid — the same thing your white blood cells make to keep you clean. That is the entire spray. No alcohol, no fragrance, no oils, nothing added to make it last.

The HOKU can, shown in sequence
Step One — The Input

Water and salt.
That is the whole shelf.

Purified water and ordinary salt. Two things you can pronounce, before anything happens to them.

Step Two — The Charge

Electricity does
the formulating.

An electric current turns the salt water into hypochlorous acid — the same thing your white blood cells make. Nothing else is added, because nothing else is needed.

Step Three — The Seal

Then we keep
air out of it.

This stuff breaks down when it meets air, and a pump bottle pulls air in every time you press it. This can never lets air back in — so spray two hundred works like spray one.

The Formula

Water, salt,
and electricity.

Run an electric current through salt water and it turns into hypochlorous acid — the same thing your body already makes to keep itself clean. Nothing gets added after that. There is no “fragrance” on the label hiding another dozen ingredients.

200+

Sprays per can — and the last one is the same as the first.

Simple Routine

Three seconds, twice a day.

1

Spray

Mist onto clean skin from six to eight inches away.

The Whole Point

Most hypochlorous sprays start going off the moment you open them. This one does not, because air never reaches the liquid — the last spray in the can is the same as the first.

Why HOKU

What we will put in writing.

No borrowed hype. Every claim below is one HOKU stands behind on the label and in the policy.

HOKU hypochlorous acid mist in a calm, spa-like setting
Why it comes in a can

Air never gets back in.

Most face sprays come in a pump bottle. Every time you press the pump, a little air gets pulled back inside. This one cannot do that — the liquid sits in a sealed bag inside the can, so air never reaches it. That is why the last spray works like the first one did.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about HOKU.

What is hypochlorous acid?

Hypochlorous acid is a naturally occurring molecule your own white blood cells produce as part of the body's immune response. HOKU recreates it using just water, salt, and electricity — a gentle cleansing mist that refreshes skin without harsh chemicals.

Why does it come in a can?

It breaks down once it meets air and light. The liquid sits in a sealed bag inside the can, so air never reaches it — which is why the last spray works like the first.

Is HOKU safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. HOKU is formulated to be gentle, with no alcohol, fragrances, parabens, oils, sulfates, or known irritants. It's mild enough for daily use on sensitive skin.

How do I use HOKU?

Hold the can 6–8 inches from clean skin and spray evenly. Let it dry on its own — no rinsing. Morning and night, or any time you want a reset.

What are the only 3 ingredients?

Water, salt, and electricity. Run a current through salt water and it becomes hypochlorous acid — nothing else added.

How long does a bottle last?

Each can gives you about 200+ sprays. Using it morning and night, that is roughly 3–4 months. Because air never gets in, the last one is as good as the first until the very last spray.
